Spanish national dies in Regency Angkor Hotel in Siem Reap city.

Siem Reap
A Spanish national died in room 322, on the 3rd floor, of Regency Angkor Hotel located in Mondul 3 village, sangkat Slok Raam, Siem Reap city.

According to an official of the Immigration Police:
The incident happend at 0.30AM on February 25 2016. The victim was identified as CRUSAFON MORRAL FRANCISCO, male, born in 1951, passport number AABXXXXXX, tourist, entered the country on February 20 2016 through Phnom Penh International Airport.

According to the technical-scientific department (of the police) and a coroner the victim died from a heart attack. The body was sent to the Royal Angkor International Hospital awaiting the family.

Australian man’s decomposing corpse found in a rental house.

Phnom Penh
The decomposing corpse of Australian man was found on the second floor of a rental house. It’s suspected that a drug overdose caused an heart attack.
He was found by the owner of the house located in Street 338, number 125E1, Group 22, village 5, second floor appartment, Sangkat Toul Svay Prey 2 (ទួលស្វាយព្រៃទី២), Khan Chamkarmon (ចំការមន), Phnom Penh, on February 23 2016 at 8.15PM.

He was identified as JONATHAN WiLLiAM, male, 24YO, teacher at Western School (វេស្ទើន) located in Sangkat Toul Svay Prey 1/Khan Chamkarmon (ចំការមន), living in Street 338, number 125E1, Group 22, village 5, second floor appartment, Sangkat Toul Svay Prey 2 (ទួលស្វាយព្រៃទី២), Khan Chamkarmon (ចំការមន), Phnom Penh.

The landlord was identified as Sum Sokuat (ស៊ឹម សុខួច), male, 36YO, living in street 338, number 125E1, Group 22, village 5, second floor appartment, Sangkat Toul Svay Prey 2 (ទួលស្វាយព្រៃទី២), Khan Chamkarmon (ចំការមន), Phnom Penh.

According to family of the owner:
Before the incident the Australian man, who’s a teacher at Western School located in Sangkat Toul Svay Prey 1/Khan Chamkarmon (ចំការមន),rented the house for almost one month. On February 20 2016 the landlord and his family went to visit Sihanoukville. They didn’t return yet but his younger sisters, living in the adjacent room, noticed a very strong and bad smell. They looked around/searched for a dead animal but they didn’t find. They (also) entered the room of the Australian man. They found his dead naked body. (ទាំងអក្រាតកាយ)

After finding him dead, the relatives of the owner reported the police who intervened and did a biopsy. They found a syringe to inject drugs next to the body of the victim. After the biopsy they concluded that the victim already died 4-5 days ago and the incident was caused by injecting too much drugs which resulted in a fatal heart attack.

Phnom Penh: 30YO Taiwanese Shan I-He dies after jumping from building.

A Vietnamese woman (of Chinese-Taiwanese origin) died after jumping from the second floor of a building in Khan Daun Penh.

The incident happend on February 24 2016 at 3.50AM. The woman jumped from the second floor of the rental house number 9B2, Street 61, village 10, sangkat Sreah Chok (ស្រះចក), Khan Daun Penh.

The victim was identified as SH ANI HE (Shan I-He according to my information), female, 33YO, Vietnamese, Chinese-Taiwanese origin, tourist guide (អ្នកនាំភ្ងៀវមកទេសចរណ៍).

According to the conclusions of the coroner and the technical-scientific department of the police the woman died because she jumped from Room 7 on the second floor of the rental house.
Currently the body is kept at Stung Meanchey pagoda awaiting relatives of the victim.

Sihanoukville: 20YO Finnish Tatu Juhani Kokko dies in rental room.

At 8.30PM on February 20 2016 the corpse of a foreigner was spotted laying on a bed/mattress in rental room number E03 on the 3rd floor.
According to Mr.Huy Bunleng:
The owner of the house was identified as Nai Chantou (ណៃ ចន្ធូ) and the house is located in Group 40, village 5, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.

The body of the foreigner was decomposing which indicates that the victim already died several days ago.
The victim was identified as KOKKO TATUJUHANL (Tatu Juhani Kokko according to the picture of his passport), male, citizen of Finland, born on April 22 1995, passport number PUXXXXXXX, valid till January 27 2020.

According to the conclusions of the forensic police and doctors the victim died because of an heart attack.
Currently the body is at the Provincial Referral Hospital of Sihanoukville awaiting embassy officials to examine and transfer the body to the homeland (of the victim).

A Russian man died after being sent to the Provincial Referral Hospital.
The incident happend around 1AM.
According to the police present at the place of the incident:
The victim was identified as ALEKSANDR, male, 21YO, tourist, passport number XXXXXXXXX.
Before (the incident) the victim took a bus from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. When he arrived in Siem Reap (province) he didn’t feel well so the company informed the police. The police intervened immediately and brought the victim immediately to the hospital.
The victim was in a too bad condition and the doctors couldn’t save his life.
According to the first conclusions of the doctor the death can be caused by a drug overdose because on the victim’s right wrist there were several marks.

Sihanoukville: French Francois Di-Cristo found dead in the garden of a rental house.

Visiting the house of a friend, non-stop drinking until the middle of the night. In the morning found dead in the garden.

The body of a foreigner was found, face down, by a house help (?)(អ្នកមើលការខុស) at a rental house located in Group 14, Village 5, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville at 7AM on February 18 2016.

According to the house help identified as Pheeng (ផេង):
At 7AM, while he walked to/inspected the rental house, he spotted a foreigner, face down, dead in the garden. He called/shouted the person renting the house who’s also a foreigner and who’s a friend of the victim. The tenant, who was upstairs, didn’t believe him but after coming downstairs and having a look he realized that his friend really died.

The victim was identified as BONO Jerome Steve, male, 41YO, French national, passport number XXXXXXXXXX, currently living in Otres bungalow located in Village 6, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville. At the night of the incident the victim came visit his friend.

According to the friend of the victim:
The victim came visit him at the night of the incident. The sat together and drank until 1AM. The friend asked to victim to go sleep inside the house but the victim disagreed and sat in front of the house until the morning when the friend of the victim realized that the victim already died.

According to the authorities:
According to the first conclusions it’s possible that the victim died because of a heart attack. Nothing of interest was found on the body of the victim or at the place of the incident.

In the evening of February 17 2016 at 5.30PM in Group 2, Village 2, Sangkat 4, City/Province Preah Sihanouk the Bureau of Immigration in collaboration with the Immigration Department belonging to the Municipal Police temporary detained a foreigner for an overstayed visa.
KARAPEYAN VAHAN, male Armenian national, tourist.
Born on 19/11/1965.
Passport number AB XXXXXXX valid till 30/06/2014.
Visa number TI 09328949 valid till 24/05/2015.
The Armenian will be sent to the General Department of Immigration.
