Phnom Penh: 49-year-old South-Korean Youn Min Chul dies in Sen Sok condo, no foul play suspected.

A Korean man lay dead in a room of a MeenSonRabBey (មេនសុនរ៉ាប់បី; possibly Mansion Rab Bey or Mansion Rab 3) condo leaving behind a wife, a son and 2 daughters. The victim died of a physical illness/disease.

The incident happened on December 31 2016 at 8.40AM in room on the 6th floor of Meen Sonrabbey condo which is situated in Trong Moan village, sangkat Or Baek K’Am, Sen Sok district, Phnom Penh.

The victim has been identified as Youn Min Chul, a 50-year-old (must be 49-year-old) South-Korean director of Gang San (ហ្គនសាន់), a water purifying systems company.
He is survived by his wife and 3 children.

According to a 30-year-old female live-in cook identified:
Yesterday, on December 29 2016 (?), the victim didn’t feel well (and) suffered serious diarrhea.
His wife proposed to visit a doctor/hospital but the victim disagreed.
On the morning of the incident she found him dead.

According to the victim’s driver:
He knew via the victim’s wife that his boss suffered hypertension and diabetes since long time already. He recently received treatment in a hospital in Korea and bought the (room in the) condo 6 months ago.

Before the incident, yesterday evening, the victim didn’t feel well but he refused a hospital visit. In the morning of the incident the victim’s condition was serious so his wife and driver called for an ambulance to bring him to the hospital. But on arrival (at the condo) the ambulance people told them that the victim passed away already. The local police was also informed to investigate (the case).

After an examination by the forensics department of the police, they concluded that the victim the victim died of diabetes and hypertension; no foul play was suspected.
The corpse was handed over to the family in order to prepare a funeral ceremony.
