Sihanoukville: American Lewis James Edward missing. FOUND!

Preah Sihanouk Province
As of 8.30PM on February 11 2016 they still didn’t find the American tourist Lewis James Edward, male, 78 years old, who disappeared/wasn’t seen again onboard of the vessel after he arrived with 1340 other tourists on board of the Volendam which moored at Kampong Phae, Sihanoukville this morning. All police forces are looking for him.

Siem Reap: British national PHILIP GREENBANK found dead in rental room.

British national found dead in a rental room; exhaustion/fainting suspected as death cause.

Siem Reap
A British national was found dead in a rental room in Phum Banteay Chas (បន្ទាយ​ចាស់), Sangkat Slok Raam (ស្លក្រាម), Krong Siem Reap.

According to the authorities the victim was a tourist, who hired the room temporary, was found dead in the room located in the above mentioned location.

The incident, which shocked neighbors and the owner of the room, happened at 7PM on January 13 2016. According to the conclusions of the authorities it could be that the victim already died 2 days before his body was found.

Please note that a team of doctors and the authorities who did an authopsy/examination informed that the victim died because of exhaustion/fainting and that drugs were found in the room.

Phnom Penh: Foreigner found unconscious in Street 154, corner with Norodom Blvd.

Unconscious foreigner found along the street

Phnom Penh
At 5.40AM on January 11 2016 a foreigner was found unconscious along Street 154 at the corner with Norodom Blvd in front of a shop selling glasses.

According to witnesses the foreigner is around 35 years old, it’s not clear where he comes from. He was already found a first time in the night of January 9 2016 but when the police went there he left. The second time, early morning on January 11 2016, he was spotted one more time unconscious/drugged. Although the authorities tried to wake him up, the didn’t manage.

The police called an ambulance and the foreigner was sent to Calmette Hospital for treatment.

Phnom Penh: French national Boudries Anthony questioned in drug case.

Young French national questioned related to the possession and use of drugs.

On January 11 2016 at 9.30AM the investigation judge of the Municipal Court of Phnom Penh ordered the prison guards of Prey Sar to transfer a young French national to the court for questioning in a case of illegal drug possession and illegal drug consumption.

The arrested is identified as Boudries Anthony, male, 27 years old, French national and tourist.

The Military Police of Khan Daun Penh detained the French national on November 22 2015 on the car parking of Golden Soria Mall, located in Psar Thmey 3, in a case of the consumption of drugs.

During his arrest the police seized 3 transparant bags with white crystals, 1 lighter, drugs paraphernalia, 1 passport and some personal things.

On November 23 2015 the arrested was sent to court and the court decided to detain the suspect and send him to prison while starting an investigation.

Phnom Penh: Foreigner victim of a robbery along Norodom Blvd.

Foreigner is the victim of a robbery (motorbike and money)

Phnom Penh:
A foreigner was found unconscious and alone in the street. He was suffering a head injury. Probably he was robbed from his motorbike and money. The incident happend at 3.30AM on January 9 2016 along Norodom Boulevard in front of the Lycee Sisowath located in Khan Daun Penh.

Witnesses saw the victim, around 30 years old, lying in the street with a head injury. They don’t know if a fight happened or that he fell on his own so they called an ambulance to bring him to the hospital but the victim refused treatment.

Then, a female employee of a shop, who passed the place of the incident, said that the victim is a customer at her shop and also before the incident the victim visited her shop but she didn’t know what happened.

According to witnesses the victim was driving a yellow Honda Click without license plates when he left the shop. After the incident they didn’t see the motorbike and also his wallet and mobile phone were missing. They suspect a robbery.

The employee of the shop asked a tuk-tuk to transfer the victim to a private clinic for treatment. There were no complaints filed or report made by the authorities.
