Phnom Penh: 65-year-old Brit Jones Malcolm Stanley dies at RS Mart; police say heart-attack.

On December 24 2016 at 1.30AM a British man died at RS Mart which is situated No.33E0, Street 178, Group 8, Village 2, sangkat Chey Chomnaeh, khan Daun Penh, Daun Penh.

The local police identified the victim as Jonses MalcolmStanley (must be Jones Malcolm Stanley), born in December 27 1950.
The victim is a British tourist who entered Cambodia through PPIA on October 25 2016.

The victim first went to the bathroom. After that the mart’s manager noticed that the victim didn’t feel well and shouted for help.
2 foreigners intervened; the lifted the victim into a vehicle and took him to Calmette Hospital. On arrival a doctor examined the man and concluded that he already passed away.

On the victim’s body the police found a medical report issued by CT poly-clinic stating that the victim suffered a cardio-vascular disease so the police concluded that he died of a heart attack.

The corpse has been kept at the Russian Hospital.

Sihanoukville: 52YO Chinese LI HUOQING dies at the Provincial Referral Hospital.

A Chinese man died in an emergency room/box. He was sent to the Provincial Referral Hospital by his colleagues on November 22 around 11PM after he didn’t feel well.
The police identified the victim as 52YO LI HUIQING (must be LI HUOQING), born on 18/08/1964, construction worker at Su Hu International which is located in Group 5, Village 1, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville.
The victim was staying at a rental house belonging to 32YO merchant Wa Sokh Heng, which is located Group 6, Village 1, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville.
According to Dr. Sim Phokdey:
The victim died of an illness/disease (Myocardial infarction/heart attack).
After approval by the family and embassy the police handed over the victim’s corpse to John Allison Monk House to deposit the corpse at the morgue of Phnom Penh’s Russian Hospital.

Phnom Penh: 55YO Chinese Si Lang Po found lying dead in staff accommodation of Ching Thav company.

In the evening of November 21 2016 a Chinese man in his 50s was found lying dead in a room on the 1st floor of Ching Thav company which is an engineering and construction company located in sangkat Kontok, khan Por Sen Chey, Phnom Penh.
The cause of his death is still unknown.
Police experts visited the scene to investigate the cause of death and confirmed that the victim died of a heart attack.

Phnom Penh: 44YO Taiwanese Wei Hung Chuang dies of a heart attack on his way to Calmette Hospital.

On November 9 2016 at 8.30AM the police examined the corpse of a 44YO Taiwanese man, identified as Wei Hung Chuang, working as a managing director at Grand Queen (possibly Grand Twins) and QMI garment factories.
The corpse has been deposited at the morgue of Wat Steung Meanchey pagoda.

The victim died on his way from a Korean Clinic to Calmette Hospital.

Before the incident the victim ate lunch/dinner at a Chinese restaurant, located North of Wat Koh pagoda in sangkat Phsar Thmey 3, khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.

The police concluded that the victim died of a heart attack. (possibly caused by a heart disease)

Sihanoukville: 49YO American SHANKLE RICHARD CHARLES dies of a heart attack.

On November 6 2016 at noon the police received the information that a foreigner had passed away.
The victim was identified as Shankle Richard Charles, male, born on 14/02/1967, American national.
He checked in in a rental house belonging to a 49YO Khmer man, identified as Lak Narin, located at Tuol Ksach road, Group 27, Village 2, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville on October 6 2016.
Doctors and the Technical-Scietnific Police said that the victim died of a heart failure.
The victim’s corpse has been deposited at the Provincial Referral Hospital prior handing it over the the family and embassy.

Phnom Penh: 56YO Brit Mark Graham Anthony Brundell found dead in Home Tip Top Guesthouse.

On November 2 2016 at 9.15AM a British man was found dead in a room of Home Tip Top Guesthouse which is located in Group 3, Kbal Domrey village, Kakab commune, Por Sen Chey district, Phnom Penh.

The victim was identified as Mark G. Antony, British national, born in April 1960, tourist and staying in the guesthouse where the incident happened.

According to the staff:
At the time of the incident an employee heard a loud noise coming from a television in the room of the victim and told his/her manager to take a look.
(The mangager) knocked on the door but there was no reply so he/she took a key to open the door.
Suddenly he/she found the victim lying dead on the bed. He/She informed the police to visit the incident scene.

The police concluded that the victim died of a heart failure.

After an examination (of the corpse) the police deposited the corpse in order to search for family and inform the embassy.

Sihanoukville: 38YO Indonesian Benny Gunawan dies on his way to the hospital.

An official told that in the evening of October 19 2016 an Indonesian man, identified as Benny Gunawan, born on 02/04/1978, owner of Benny Gunawan Zhang Jilong restaurant which is located at Group 4, Village 2, Sangkat 2, Sihanoukville, died on his way to the hospital.
According to the police statement of Mr. Miam Vonn, male, 39YO, Khmer, who is a Chinese translator:
On October 19 2016 around 9PM the victim drank one cup of coffee in his own restaurant. Moments later he showed symptoms of a crooked face, a crooked mouth and a respiratory obstruction.
Relatives sent the victim to be rescued but the victim died on his way to the Provincial Referral Hospital.
According to the deputy-chief of the Provincial Health Department and after examining the victim’s corpse:
The victim died from a heart attack.

Sihanoukville: 48YO Indian Jakir Ali Mohammad found dead in his rental room.

On September 16 2016 around 10AM the corpse of an Indian man was found dead lying on a bed in a rental room in Group 9, Village 3, Sangkat 2, Sihanoukville.

According to the police:
The landlord has been identified as 65YO retired Khmer national Yum Dadi.
The victim has been identified as MOHAMMAD JAKIR ALI, male, Indian national, 48YO, DOB 01/01/1968, bed linen seller (លក មុ៉ងភួយ), holder of an EI-visa valid till 03/08/2017.

According to the landlord:
The victim started renting the room on 01/01/2014.
When friends of the victim brought him a visit they saw that the victim didn’t wake up so they knocked on the door and took a look through the window. After that they realized that the victim died.

Police experts, after performing an examination/biopsy, told that the victim died of a heart attack.

The corpse of the victim has been laid out at the place of the incident awaiting a decision from the victim’s family and the handing over to the embassy.

Sihanoukville: 58YO Belgian Frederic Pol Hazard found dead in Divers Hotel.

Corpse of Belgian man found in hotel room; cause of death unknown.

The corpse has been found on September 16 2016 around midnight. The victim was found lying on a bed, his face upwards, in a room of Divers Hotel which is located at ‘Meteorology’ (ឧតុនិយម), Group 25, Village 3, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville.

The victim was wearing a blue shirt with a checkerboard pattern and grey shorts.

The police identified the victim as HAZARD FREDERIC POL C., male, Belgian national, 58YO, businessman, holder of an EI-visa valid till 04/10/2016.

The police said that a biopsy performed by the technical-scientific police and a doctor revealed that the victim possibly died of a heart attack.
After the examinations the victim’s corpse was sent to Russian Hospital in Phnom Penh by the family and embassy in order to organize the return of the victim’s corpse to his country of origin.
