Foreigner is the victim of a robbery (motorbike and money)

Phnom Penh:
A foreigner was found unconscious and alone in the street. He was suffering a head injury. Probably he was robbed from his motorbike and money. The incident happend at 3.30AM on January 9 2016 along Norodom Boulevard in front of the Lycee Sisowath located in Khan Daun Penh.

Witnesses saw the victim, around 30 years old, lying in the street with a head injury. They don’t know if a fight happened or that he fell on his own so they called an ambulance to bring him to the hospital but the victim refused treatment.

Then, a female employee of a shop, who passed the place of the incident, said that the victim is a customer at her shop and also before the incident the victim visited her shop but she didn’t know what happened.

According to witnesses the victim was driving a yellow Honda Click without license plates when he left the shop. After the incident they didn’t see the motorbike and also his wallet and mobile phone were missing. They suspect a robbery.

The employee of the shop asked a tuk-tuk to transfer the victim to a private clinic for treatment. There were no complaints filed or report made by the authorities.

Sihanoukville: Foreigner climbs on 2 Lions statue.

According to residents a foreigner climbed the Lion Statue at the roundabout Lion2 in Sihanoukville. The incident happened on January 7 2016 at sunset.
It should be said that the 2 Lions are a symbol for Sihanoukville and foreigners shouldn’t climb on them. According to the residents this is an insult for Sihanoukville and its citizens.

Phnom Penh: Another foreigner losing the plot.

Drunken and driving a tuk-tuk, making troubles inside an hotel, chasing and fighting in the street.

Phnom Penh
A drunken and wet foreigner who was driving a tuk-tuk to his hotel destroyed for an unknown reason some property inside the hotel. He chased the staff. He even chased people in the street. This incident happened on January 5 2015 around 3.30AM at hotel Lux (?) លុច situated along street 136, Sangkat Psar Kandal 1, Khan Daun Penh.
According to the staff prior to the incident was driving a tuk-tuk in a drunken and wet state, he asked for the price of a room and started screaming for an unknown reason. He created chaos and damaged property inside the hotel. He chased the staff, even outside. He destroyed a cart selling grilled beef and meatballs. Neighbors and bystanders were surprised and intervened.

Sources say that a motodob and many by-standers caught him and started talking about compensation for all the things he destroyed. The seller of the grilled beef demanded 50USD. The foreigner guaranteed to pay for the damaged property of the hotel but he had to wait for the owner.
There was no intervention by the local authorities, only residents and staff intervened. The hotel doesn’t know yet if it will file a lawsuit against the suspect since they’re waiting for the owner.

Phnom Penh: Car collides with motorbike of foreigner.

A vehicle collides with a motorbike of a foreigners and drags the bike around 10 meters. 2 people were seriously injured.

Phnom Penh:
A foreigner and a Khmer were seriously injured because a vehicle collided with their motorbike and dragged the bike under the vehicle for around 10meters. This happened at 1:50AM on January 1 2016 at the intersection of Street294 with Street51 in Sangkat Bung Keeng Kong1, Khan Chamkarmon.

Before the accident, witnesses saw 2 people, one Khmer and one foreigner, driving a motorbike along Street51 from the north to the south. The foreigner was driving the motorbike Brand FTR, white color, license plate Phnom Penh 1BY-0951. When the motorbike reached the intersection suddenly a silver-colored Ford Ranger, license plate Phnom Penh 2AH-8577 and driving at a high speed along Street294 from the east to the west, collided with the motorbike and afterwards dragged it for around 10meters. The 2 people driving the motorbike were seriously injured. The driver of the car immediately left his vehicle to help the victims and told the bystanders to call an ambulance. The driver, who had blood of the victims on his shirt, told that he was going to change his shirt and disappeared.
