Sihanoukville: Finnish Jenny Jokela dies after traffic accident with motorbike.

Finnish woman drives a motorbike at high speed and collides with a traffic sign resulting in severe injuries. She died at the hospital.

A Finnish woman died at the Provincial Referral Hospital while she received emergency treatment after a traffic accident caused by herself. She was driving a motorbike a very high speed, plowed into a big traffic sign in the middle of the street, crashed and slid around 50 meters.
The accident happend around 11PM on March 28 2016 at Independence road at the Municipal High School located in village 3, sangkat 3, Sihanoukville city/province.
According to the police:
The victim was driving a black Hayate motorbike, license plate Phnom Penh 1Y-4181.
The victim was identified as Jenny Jokela (ចេ​ន នី យូ កា ឡា), female, 23YO, Finnish national, working as an employee at the Papagayo Guesthouse (ប៉ា​ប៉ា​កាយ៉ូ) located in village 4, sangkat 4, Sihanoukville city/province.
The victim was driving from Meteorology in the direction of Psar Leu. At the place of the incident she crashed into a big traffic sign in the middle of the road which resulted in severe injuries. She died at the hospital.
Currently the body of the victim is kept at the morgue of the Sihanoukville Provincial Referral Hospital awaiting to the overhanded to the family and embassy and returned to her home country.
One motorbike was taken to the office of the Provincial Traffic Police.

Kampot: Finnish Perttu Johannes Aarnio arrested for drugs offences.

Finnish man, smoking marihuana in his rental room, was reported to the police by the landlord and arrested.

The anti-drug department belonging to the Provincial Police in collaboration with the deputy prosecutor of the Provincial Court at 9.30AM on February 25 2016 did a raid on a rental room (River Lodge) located North Tvi village (ទ្វី​ខាងជើង), sangkat Ondong Khmer (អណ្តូង​ខ្មែរ), Kampot city, in a drugs-case and arrested one Finnish man identified as Perttu Johannes, 38YO, who was consuming marijuana.

The raid followed after a report from the landlord that there was a foreigner living in the room who smoked marihuana.

After the police received the complaint and after the police asked for the cooperation of the prosecutor they raided the place. They seized marijuana and smoking equipment.

Sihanoukville: 20YO Finnish Tatu Juhani Kokko dies in rental room.

At 8.30PM on February 20 2016 the corpse of a foreigner was spotted laying on a bed/mattress in rental room number E03 on the 3rd floor.
According to Mr.Huy Bunleng:
The owner of the house was identified as Nai Chantou (ណៃ ចន្ធូ) and the house is located in Group 40, village 5, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.

The body of the foreigner was decomposing which indicates that the victim already died several days ago.
The victim was identified as KOKKO TATUJUHANL (Tatu Juhani Kokko according to the picture of his passport), male, citizen of Finland, born on April 22 1995, passport number PUXXXXXXX, valid till January 27 2020.

According to the conclusions of the forensic police and doctors the victim died because of an heart attack.
Currently the body is at the Provincial Referral Hospital of Sihanoukville awaiting embassy officials to examine and transfer the body to the homeland (of the victim).
