Overstaying foreigner sent to the Department (of Immigration)

In the afternoon of January 27 2016 the Provincial Police of Kampot sent a foreigner to the Immigration Department for almost 3 years overstaying.

Officers of the Immigration Department belonging to the Provincial Police told that on January 26 2016 while they were conducting searches in Phum Kampong Baay North (កំពង់បាយ​ខាងជើង), Sangkat Kampong Baay, Krong Kampot, the police found a foreigner who was overstaying for almost 3 years.
After filing the case the foreigner will be sent to the General Department of Immigration belonging to the Ministry of Interior to take a decision since this is beyond the provincial level.
The foreigner was identified as Klaas Nieuwhof, 47 years old, Dutch national.
