Sihanoukville: Decomposed body of Canadian man found at Cozy Resort.

The body was found in room No.119.

The incident happened on December 19 2016 at 11.30AM at Cozy Resort which is situated in Group 12, Village 4, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville (approx. 70m west of the 2 Lions roundabout and behind Shanghai karaoke).

According to the police:
The victim hasn’t been identified yet; they know that the man was Canadian and around 70YO.

The female owner of the resort is 26YO.

The victim checked in in the resort on October 29 2016.

The body is kept at the place of the incident awaiting the technical-scientific department of the police and medical experts to perform a biopsy.

Siem Reap: 49YO Canadian Kenneth Robert Huxley found dead in his rental room.

According to the police:
A foreigner died in a rental room; a bad smell alarmed the landlord/landlady.
The incident happend on September 12 2016 at 1PM at Ta Phul village, sangkat Svay Dangkum, Siem Reap city.
After a physical examination of the victim’s corpse the police didn’t find any traces of murder/homicide.
They concluded that the victim maybe left the bathroom, felt dizzy and fell down.(exhaustion) There were no witnesses.
The victim maybe died 3 to 4 days ago because the corpse was already swollen up and smelling bad.
The immigration police identified the victim as HUXLEY KENNETH ROBERT, male, 58YO, Canadian national, jobless.
The police and a doctor decided to take and lay out the victim’s corpse at the Provincial Referral Hospital awaiting a decision from the embassy.

Phnom Penh: 42YO Canadian Vinny Bains found dead at Home Town Hotel.

A Canadian national died at Home Town Hotel.

Phnom Penh

On June 26 2016 at 6.20AM at Home Town Suite Hotel located at number 35, Street 172, Group 19, Village 5, sangkat Chey Chomneah, khan Daun Penh, a foreigner died in room number 208 on the 2nd floor.
The victim was identified as BAINS VINNY, male, 43YO, tourist, Canadian national.
He checked-in on June 25 2016. He died of a heart attack.
His body was deposited a the Khmer-Sovjet Hospital.

Sihanoukville: 65YO Canadian SANCHEZ OSCAR found dead in his bathroom.

According to the provincial Military police:
On May 30 2016 at 0.24AM they found the corps of a foreigner in the bathroom of the rental house belonging to Prom Chomreun (ព្រហ្ម ចំរើន) located in Group 19, Village 3, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville.
The victim was identified as SANCHEZ OSCAR, male, DOB 02.02.1951, Canadian national, holder of the passport XXXXXXX expiring on 04.05.2025.
The victim started living in the rental house on 15.11.2013.
According to the examinations done by the Technical and Scientific Bureau and a doctor-expert:
The victim died of a pre-exisiting medical illness. (swollen hands and feet)
The corps is kept at the Provincial Referral Hospital awaiting the handing over to the family and embassy.

Kampot: 68YO Canadian Richard Bruce Donaldson dies in Fruit Garden Guesthouse.

A French national dies in a wheelchair in Fruit Garden Guesthouse/Suan Phlae Chheu Guesthouse (សួនផ្លែឈើ) in Kampot city.

On April 27 2016 at 4.50PM people living close to the place of the incident found a dead French man (sitting) in a wheelchair inside Fruit Garden Guesthouse located in Kampong Bay South village (កំពង់បាយខាងត្បូង), sangkat Kampong Bay (កំពង់បាយ), Kampot city.

People told DAP news that the victim, who is French, around 64YO, started renting the place of the incident from the people to use as a guesthouse and to live there.

Currently the police is doing a forensic investigation; the victim isn’t identified yet.
