A Korean national succumbed on her way to the Royal Angkor International Hospital (RAIH).

In the evening/night of October 13 2016 a Korean national died on het way to the RAIH to be rescued.
The police and doctors examined the victim’s corpse and concluded that the victim died of a heart attack because the victim suffered symptoms of suffocation.
The Immigration Police identified the victim as:
YOO BOK SOON, female, 72YO, Korean, tourist, on a guided-tour.
The victim arrived in Siem Reap province on October 11 2016 on a flight from Hanoi and stayed in room No.143 of Starry Angkor Hotel which is located in Banteay Chas village, Slok Raam commune, Siem Reap city/province.
According to the older brother of the victim:
Since her arrival in Siem Reap the victim told her older brother that she didn’t feel well.
On October 12 2016 she told the tour company to take her to the RAIH to perform an examination. After the visit to the hospital she returned again to the hotel.
On October 13 2016 at 8PM the victim told her older brother once more that she was suffering symptoms of suffocation.
She was sent immediately to the RAIH but the victim died at 8.35PM on her way to the hospital.
The victim’s corpse has been deposited at the RAIH awaiting a decision from the embassy and family.
