In the morning of October 9 2016 a Filipino man, suffering from diabetes, died on his way to the Royal Angkor International Hospital which is located in Kasikam village, sangkat Srangae, Siem Reap city/province.
According to the police:
The Immigration department, the Technical and Scientific department and a coroner linked to the Provincial Court examined the victim’s corpse and concluded that the victim died of a cerebral hemorrhage and that the victim also suffered diabetes.
The Immigration Police identified the victim as 54YO (should be 59YO) Manansala Alexaber Elim, Filipino, working at a call center in Borey Prem Prey, living in Kruos village, sangkat Svay Dangkum, Siem Reap city/province, and married with Mariefarnanbo, an English language teacher.
According to the victim’s wife:
At 7Am in the morning her husband, suffering from diabetes, was in a serious condition and transported to the Provincial Referral Hospital and afterwards transported to the Royal Angkor International Hospital but he died before arrival.
Currently the victim’s corpse is laid out at the Royal Angkor International Hospital awaiting documents from the embassy and a decision.
