A Singaporean man, who died from a heart attack, caused commotion on October 10 2016 at 9.30PM in room No.302 of Dynsey Boutique which is located No.57Eo, Street 172, Group 19, Village 5, sangkat Chey Chomneah, khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.

According to sources present at the scene:
The victim checked in on September 26 2016 at 4PM. The victim had a habit of going outside (leaving his room) at 2PM and return between 6PM and 10PM, holding a water, orange juice or beer in the hand.
On October 9 2016 (the source) didn’t see the victim come downstairs (leave his room) as usual; idem dito on October 10 2016.
They became suspicious and a staff member, identified as Chun Mab, went upstairs and knocked on the door of the victim’s room but there was no response.
He took the master key and when he planned to open the door he suddenly noticed a bad smell and realized that the victim died.

An inspection of the scene by the police revealed that the door of the victim’s room didn’t show signs of a forced entry.
The victim’s corpse was found on the bed inside the room; face up and across the bed.
His right leg touched the floor and his left leg almost touched the floor. The corpse was decomposing.
In a drawer the police found a blister pack with pills.

The victim was identified as TAN WEE TZEHENRY, male, DOB 12/10/1976, tourist, Singaporean national.

The police found traces of morphines and meth-amphetamines in the victim’s urine.

The authorities concluded that the victim died of a drug-induced heart attack.

The corpse has been deposited at Wat Steung Meanchey pagoda which is located in khan Meanchey.
