A Malaysian man died of hypertension.
Siem Reap
On June 15 2016 at 6AM a foreigner died in his room at Claremont hotel which is located in Siem Reap city.
According to the Provincial Police the victim was identified as SIVANANDAM KUPPOSANY (must be SIVANANDAM KUPPUSAMY), male, 64YO, Malaysian national, tourist. He died in room 202 on the first floor of Claremont Hotel located in Siem Reap city.
After his death the police performed an autopsy (scan of the head); they found a broken blood vessel and a blood cloth in the brain of the victim. They concluded that the victim died of hypertension. Furthermore the victim also used medicines against hypertension on a daily base.
Currently the victim is being kept at the Royal Angkor International Hospital awaiting his family to organize the repatriation of his body.
