Fatal drug overdose at a hotel (heart attack)

On May 26 2016 at 3PM a morphine overdose led to the death (heart attack) of a Malaysian man; he was found close to his bed in room 22 at Amanjaya Hotel (អាម៉ាន់ស្សាយ៉ា), Number 1, Street 154, Village 4, sangkat Psar Kandal 1, khan Daun Penh.

The police identified the victim as Aaron Limhoong Tat, male, 37YO, tourist, Malaysian national, temporarily living in the hotel where the incident happend.

According to a clarification to the police of Tooch Chan Srey Sros, female, 37YO, manager at the hotel:
Before the incident on May 26 at 2PM Chariya (ចរិយា), female, 25YO, receptionist at the hotel told that the victim, staying at room 22, had to check-out because he stopped renting the room so the receptionist knocked on the door of his room but there was no response and the victim didn’t open the door.
The receptionist asked the help of a technical staff member to open the door. The found the victim lying dead in the neighborhood of the bed and they report the incident to the police.

A biopsy revealed by a commission of experts revealed that the foreigner died of a heart attack caused by a morphine overdose.
