A Japanese tourist arrived in Siem Reap province on April 7 2016 by a Japanese tour company.
On April 9 2016 the victim went to visit Pre Rup temple. During that visit he felt un-well. He was transported by a vehicle of (the company) Mekong to the Royal International Hospital. After arrival he passed away.
The doctors and Scientific Technical Police concluded that the victim died of fainting (ដោយសារ ខ្យល់គរ).
According to the Provincial Technical Scientific Police:
The victim was identified as SUZUKI TADAHISA, male, 67YO, holder of the passport TR XXXXXXXX.
The corpse is kept at the Royal International Hospital awaiting the overhanding to the embassy or family.
