Phnom Penh: Breast augmentation surgery leads to death of 36YO woman, De Beauté Clinic temporarily closed.

On November 21 2016 a deputy prosecutor of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court with the participation of the governor of Russey Keo district temporarily closed 'De Beauté Clinic' after a breast augmentation surgery (lacking adequate techniques according to the victim's husband) led to the death of a 36YO woman, identified as Ros Sokhny ( រស់ សុខនី) and born in Kratie province, leaving a husband and 4 children behind.
The victim died yesterday afternoon at 4.40PM.

The private hospital is located close to the Camko City roundabout, house No.19, Street 355, sangkat Tuol Sankae, khan Russey Keo.

The victim saw an advertisement for breast augmentation surgery on the private hospital's Facebook page. She discussed it with her husband and they agreed.
The operation was performed on November 17 2016.

2 days after the surgery, on November 19 2016, the victim was in a critical condition but De Beauté Clinic denied responsibility; they told the victim's family to take her to ICU Clinic which is located House No.5, Street 402, sangkat Tumnob Tuk, khan Chamkar Mon. Upon arrival doctors examined the victim and told the family that there was no more hope for the victim.
