Siem Reap: 8 girls seduced and abused by a Korean priest.

The Anti-Human Trafficking and Juvenile Protection (AHT&JP) unit of the Provincial Police thoroughly investigated the case of a Korean catholic priest who paid for sex with minors according to a lawsuit of a victim's parents. After investigating the case the police discovered that the priest really committed the accusations as per lawsuit of the victims' parents.

In the morning of October 20 2016 the AHT&JP unit detained a Korean catholic priest following a lawsuit by a victim's parents (accusing the suspect of) seducing/luring their child and other young girls, 8 children in total, and having sexual intercourse with them, one at a time, in (his) catholic church in exchange for a small amount of money.

The incident happend in a catholic church in Chongkovsou village, sangkat Slok Raam, Siem Reap city/province.

The AHT&JP unit of the Provincial Police identified the suspect as PARK YOUL, 62YO, till his arrest (ចាប់ខ្លួន) living in the catholic church.

The arrest of the suspect followed a lawsuit of a victim's father. The suspect was brought in for questioning by the Provincial Police. Then it became clear that the priest used to pay for sex with minors, 8 in total, since 2011. His victims are between the age of 13 and 21YO.

On each occasion the suspect gave his victim a little bit money. He only abused his victims in the church. This according to the suspect's confessions to the police.

The suspect was questioned by the police and his case was sent to the Provincial Court in the afternoon of the same day to administer the law.
