A female thief cut open/made an incision in the bag of a foreigner to steal but was arrested by the police of Battambang city.
The theft happend on August 11 2016 at 8.30 (AM or PM) at 13 Makara village, sangkat Prek Preah Stech, Battambang city. The victim was identified as the 64YO American national Sister Spencer (ស៊ីស្ទើរស្ពេនសើរ).
A mobile phone, 30USD, a driving license and some other documents were stolen.
The victim filed a complaint and the police arrested a suspect identified as 31YO Hak Phos ( ហាក់ ផស) living in Romcheek 4 village, sangkat Rotneah, Battambang city.
The stolen goods, except the money, were retrieved and returned.
