A bus belonging to Liang US Express was involved in another traffic accident, but this time the cause was the bus itself. The driver lost control which resulted in 3 seriously injured passengers, many slightly injured passengers and many in shock.

The accident happened at 5.40PM on January 17 2016 in O'Chrov District, Banteay Meanchey Province.

Witnesses saw the bus driving on National Road 5 from the East to the West. Likely the driver fell asleep. The rain made the road slippery. The bus started zig-zagging and collided with a sewage channel which damaged the front of the bus almost completely. 3 passengers were seriously injured and many other slightly. Many passengers were in shock. The driver...fled.

The injured victims were transferred to the hospital. The authorities concluded that the driver fell asleep during the time it was raining.

Earlier today a bus from the same company was involved in another accident while it was driving very fast inside the town and hit a student, driving a motorbike, who crossed the street. The student was seriously injured.
