Beware of the street kids harassing people at the Sokimex petrol station (next to Park Hyatt Hotel).
Yesterday I observed one of their modi operandi (apart from harassing the people buying petrol at the station and begging them for some money while an accomplice of them pickpockets you or steals something from inside your bike/car).
So yesterday I noticed following:
When the traffic lights become green for the traffic on Sivatha Blvd they halt in the middle of the lane (pretending they were crossing the Blvd) forcing the oncoming motorbikes (direction roundabout) passing them in front and behind. It's not easy to spot them; they're small and suddenly they show up in front of you.
In the tumult passing/avoiding them they attempt to grab handbags.
Personally I saw them grab to a handbag of a female co-rider. Fortunately they didn't manage to steal it.
If time permits I'll do some more investigations and take pics or a video.
