The son of the owner of a photo shop was arrested by the police for drugging, raping and stealing.

The suspect was arrested by the military police of Khan 7 Makara after the received a complaint from the female victim. After she was drugged the suspect brought her to a guesthouse Lucky 2 (ឡាក់​គី​២) and raped her. Finally he also stole her mobile phone and jewelry.

The police identified the suspect as Boor Chomreun (បូរ ចំរើន), 38 years old, living on Monivong Blvd, Sangkat O'Russei, Khan 7 Makara, Phnom Penh. He's the son of the owner of a photo shop. He was arrested at 4.30PM on January 14 2016 along Street 107, Sangkat Monorom (​មនោ​រម្យ), Khan 7 Makara while he was driving his car. The victim is 29 years old and has a business.

According to the complaint on January 10 2016 the victim attended the birthday party of a friend where she met the suspect. When she left the party the suspect offered her a lift.

Halfway the trip the suspect asked the victim to eat something together and promised her 200USD. After the victim finished her meal suddenly she felt sleepy. When she woke up again she found herself naked in Lucky2 Guesthouse. She lost her handbag including 1 Iphone, 1 watch, one golden necklace and 280USD. She realized that the suspect already left and she filed a complaint.

The police arrested the suspect on January 14 2016 and took legal action against him.

The suspect was released from custody after both parties apologized to each other.
