Before she was found she went missing from home for 2 nights and 3 days since April 13 2016.
In the morning of April 15 2016 at 6.30AM she was found dead, face-down and half-naked, by villagers along the street 2km on the west side of Veal Pothi village (វាលពោធិ៍), Preah Vihear.
The police was informed and they concluded that it could be a murder/robbery case. 400.000 riel (100USD) disappeared from the victim's body.
The victim had bruises on the torso and and traces of a chain in the neck.
The victim was identified as a 57YO farmer living in the village were the corps was found. It's not yet clear how the victim died.
Later on the day one suspect was arrested for questioning.

Apparently not only a woman was arrested (on charges of murder) but also her husband (on charges of rape).
