Kampot: Ukrainian Georgii Charskyi found dead by his Russian girlfriend.

In the morning of May 22 2017 a foreigner was found dead by his female friend in a house along the road to Wat Veal Puat pagoda in Ondong khmer village/commune, Kampot city/province.

According to resident living nearby:
The victim was daily drunk; sometimes they also saw him buying Red Bull and mixing (it) with with alcohol.
They were aware that the victim had a girlfriend (the report says that they were living together like husband and wife) but they didn't see her entering/leaving (the place) during the last few days.

According to the Immigration department of the Provincial Police:
The victim has been identified as Georgii Charskyi, a 45-year-old Ukrainian national born on May 9 1972. The man entered Cambodia through Phnom Penh International Airport.
His girlfriend has been identified as 35-year-old Russian Oxana M. She returned from Preah Sihanouk province on May 22 2017 at 9AM and reported the incident to the authorities.

No foul play has been linked to the man's dead; he fell by himself.
Police experts are claiming that the victim was possibly very drunk before loosing consciousness, falling/collapsing and dying of a fractured skull.

The police let the woman contact the victim's relatives.

The victim's body has been kept at the Provincial Referral Hospital of Kampot waiting for instructions from his relatives in Ukraine.
