Phnom Penh: American and Vietnamese tourist busted flying drone next to Royal Palace.

An American and a Vietnamese tourist were taken into custody by the local police of Chey Chomneah in collaboration with Daun Penh security guards after using a drone to making some pictures of the vicinity of the Royal Palace in Chey Chomneah, Daun Penh. The incident happened on January 17 2017 at 2PM at the Royal Cremation site, corner of Street 184 and Sothearos Blvd. in Village 2, Chey Chomneah commune, Daun Penh district, Phnom Penh.

The police identified the 2 men as:
1. 32-year old American tourist William John Sonbuncher, staying at Mini Banana Guest House, No.136, Street 51, Boeung Keng Kong 1 commune, Chamkar Mon district.
2. 24-year-old Vietnamese tourist Do Hoang Giang, staying at Mini Banana Guest House, No.136, Street 51, Boeung Keng Kong 1 commune, Chamkar Mon district.

The police confiscated a drone 'equipped' with an iPhone 7 Plus, a 200m video lens, 1 battery and a Canon digital camera.

According to the local police:
Before the incident they noticed a Saigon-Phnom Penh bus, which entered Cambodia via the Bavet (Svay Rieng) border checkpoint.
Suddenly 2 foreign tourists opened a bag and launched a drone equipped with a camera to take pictures of the Royal Palace and Royal Cremation site which are restricted areas.
When noticing this local police in collaboration with district security forces took both men into custody for questioning. Afterwards they were sent to the offices of the district police to take further action.

Note: it's not clear to me who is who on below pictures since I notice several white foreigners; possibly they used an old picture to spruce up the article.
