Royal Decree lowering and increasing custom duty rates and specific tax on some goods.
Hun Sen issued a decree regarding the change of tax rates and specific tax rates on some goods effective from April 1 2016 onwards. The royal decree reduces the custom duty rates for books and toys will lower from 7% to 0%. The custom duty rates on computer parts and supplemental parts will lower from 15% to 7%.
The specific tax on cigarettes wil increase from 15% to 20%.

35% on all types of wine (previously 20%)
20% on all types of cigarette (previously 15%)
