An American national takes a drug overdose and dies of a heart attack in a hotel.

An American man died in an hotel room because of an heart attack after taking an overdose of Morphine (ម៉​ហ្វី​ន). He was found at 4PM on April 7 2016 in room number 412 on the fourth floor of Sun&Moon Hotel located at number 68Eo, Street 136, Group 11, Village 10, sangkat Psar Kandal 1, khan Daun Penh.

The police identified the foreigner who died of an overdose as Keith James Robert, male, 36YO, US national, tourist, holder of the passport XXXXXXXXXX, staying/residing at the place of the incident.

Chum Dani (ជឹម ដា​នី), female, 33YO, deputy customer relations manager (​អនុប្រធាន​ផ្នែក​ទំនាក់​ទំនង​ភ្ញៀវ) belonging to the hotel where the incident happend told the police that:
The victim checked-in on April 6 2016 at 4PM for a period of 4 nights. On April 7 2016 at 3.20PM housekeeping (អ្នក​រៀបចំ​បន្ទប់) knocked on the door of the room of the victim to clean the room but they didn't hear a response. They informed a supervisor (អ្នក​មើល​ការ​ខុស​ត្រូវ​សណ្ឋាគារ) and took a look together. The found the victim dead face-down on the bed. They informed the police.

A biopsy revealed that the victim died of an heart attack by using a overdose of morphine.
The corps was transferred to the morgue of Stung Meanchey pagoda awaiting an overhanding to the family.
