On July 15 2017 a Khmer man complained on Facebook about some foreigners selling goods on 'the public road' in Siem Reap (near the river opposite the art center night market) and he summoned the police to intervene.
Next day the police intervened; they temporarily halted the operations and made the owner, reportedly a 40-year-old Turkish man, sign a contract after some vendors at Phsar Chas (Old Market) and the Night Market complained to the police and didn't feel happy because the foreigner was selling his t-shirts for (only) 1USD which made them loose a lot of income.
