Phnom Penh: Foreigner leaves damaged Toyota Rav4 behind after crashing into road divider.

The accident happened on July 1 2017 around 4.30AM (other sources say 4.50AM) at the traffic lights in front of Paradise Hotel (corner with Charles de Gaulle Blvd.) in Daun Penh's Phsar Thmey 2 commune when the foreigner was driving his Toyota Rav4 vehicle northbound along Monivong Blvd.
3 foreign driver was accompanied by 2 other foreign men and 1 Khmer woman.
No injuries were reported.
After the accident the driver and his companions boarded a Toyota Highlander, belonging to a friend, and left the scene leaving the damaged Toyota Rav4 behind.
According to bystanders the foreign driver seemed to be drunk at the time of the accident.
The damaged vehicle has been impounded by the police.
