On July 1 2017 around 9AM a foreigner, riding a big motorbike, collided with a Honda Scoopy motorbike, ridden by a man.
The accident happened in front of Phnom Penh International Airport (PPIA) but the foreigner, who tried to escape, was chased and stopped in Prey Chisak village, Chaom Chao commune, Por Sen Chey district, Phnom Penh.
According to sources present at the accident scene:
Before the incident they saw a foreigner, riding a big motorbike (Phnom Penh 1CC-3433) southbound. In front of PPIA, the foreigner collided with a Honda Scoopy (Phnom Penh 1CM-1773), ridden by a man in his mid-thirties, who was crossing the road which resulted in some damages.
The foreigner tried to escape on his motorbike but was chased by the victim and finally stopped.
Both parties settled the issue on the spot.
