The crackdown happened in the morning of July 1 2017 on 2 rental houses in Tuk Chhou district, Kampot province.
At the first location (ភូមិស្នំប្រាំពីរ ឃុំម៉ាកប្រាង្គ ស្រុកទឹកឈូ) the police detained 6 women and 14 men; at the second location (ភូមិត្រពាំងធំ ឃុំជុំគ្រៀល ស្រុកទឹកឈូ) the police detained 5 women and 13 men.

Some sources are reporting that around 100 Chinese nationals were arrested on the morning of July 1 2017; the arrests took place in several different provinces and in Phnom Penh.
Interpol might be involved too.
