June 4 2017, 5PM, Koh Thom district, Kandal province.
Victim: 52-year-old house woman.
Suspect: 40-year-old farmer.
Before her death the suspect blamed his wife for doing nothing in the household. He slapped her 3 times in the face untill she fell on the floor.
The next morning the victim ordered her child/children to go buy rice soup to eat. After that she went back to bed.
Around 1PM the victim's mother-in-law found her still sleeping and called a doctor for help. The doctor ordered the victim's family to send her to the district hospital but she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The husband has been arrested by the police.
