On April 30 2017 at 9PM a work-related accident happened at the Chinese company Wangkang which is situated in O'Treng village, Phlov Meas commune, Ratanak Mondul district, Battambang province.
Police identified the victim as Fan Jinxin, a 29-year-old Chinese national from Hunan.
He died after a crate with glass panels and weighing 2232kg fell over while transferring it from a container on a lorry to another vehicle.
A few hours after the accident the victim died in the hospital.
A post-mortem examination confirmed that the man was crushed to death.
The body has been handed over to the victim's family.
