Sihanoukville: Long-term Russian expat Galina Nikitina dies on her way to the hospital; heart attack.

On January 11 2017 at 7.25AM the police received the information that a foreign woman died (along the road) on her way to her way to the Provincial Referral Hospital. (aka Chamkar Cheek Hospital)
The deceased has been identified as female Russian pensioner Galina Nikitina, born on August 9 1948. She arrived in Cambodia long time ago.

According to the police report:
On January 11 2017 since around 4AM the deceased was out of breath/showed suffocation symptoms and felt weak. She was sent for treatment to a private hospital (CT Clinic) but they were afraid to admit her due to her serious condition.
Relatives took her to the Provincial Referral Hospital but the victim died on her way to the hospital (before she arrived at the hospital).

Following an examination and biopsy a doctor concluded that the victim died of a heart attack.

Presently the victim's body has been kept at the morgue of the Provincial Referral Hospital to wait for a decision from her family and the Russian Embassy.

The victim rented a house in Group 35, Village 3, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville since December 1 2016.
