On June 22 2017 the trial started.
The accused clarified that he attacked his wife in the night of January 5 2017 because he was angry with her after she reprimanded him for drinking and attacked him with a spoon. He fought back without having the intention to kill the victim.
In the morning of January 6 2017 he called a tuk tuk to bring his wife to a hospital but doctors told him that she was already dead.
The accused panicked and told the doctors that the victim slipped in the bathroom and hit her head but the police discovered that the victim was killed and arrested the husband.
A verdict is due on July 5 2017.
