Banteay Meanchey: 2 foreigners forgot their luggage on the bus and receive it back from the Tourist Police.

2 Foreigners forgot their luggage on the bus; tourist police found the luggage and gave it back.

On January 2 2016 officers from the Provincial Tourist Police overhanded the luggage to the German/Thai tourists; including handbags and trolleys (in total 3 pieces) and 1 tripod after they forgot it on the bus from the company Hang Tep.
Officers from the Tourist Police stationed at the international border of Poipet told the newspaper that on January 2 2016 at 3.30PM the tourists forgot their luggage on the vehicle (category 42 seats) from the company Hang Tep which is located in Phum Psar Kandal, Sangkat Psar Kandal, Krong Poipet, after they came back from visiting Siem Reap Province.
They added that after the driver of the vehicle noticed the forgotten luggage, he overhanded it to his manager who called the Provincial Tourist Police. The Tourist Police localized the owners although they already crossed the border with Thailand but they were able to contact them and tell them to come back at recieve them the same day in Poipet.
