One villager arrested suspected of raping and killing a 10YO girl.
On June 7 2016 at around 2PM at a field in the forest located 200m eastwards of Khyok Kandal village, Popus commune, Svay Antor district, a man was arrested by the police for his involvement in a rape and murder case of a 10YO girl.
Local authorities said that the victim was just 10YO and was living in Svay Antor district.
A 4YO girl testified that before the incident the 30YO suspect asked her older sister (the victim) to go look for bees in the forest, located east of the village.
A 13YO boy testified that he saw the suspect walking eastwards of the village together with the victim.
At 3PM the family of the victim found the girl dead.
The suspect was arrested for questioning based on the 2 testimonies.
