Phnom Penh: 2 Filipinos seriously injured in traffic accident.

2 Filipinos just finished drinking and were each driving their own motorbike at a high speed and in a drunken state. They were also driving in the wrong direction (in the opposite direction of the traffic) at an intersection. A car collided with them and they were seriously injured.
The accident happend at 3.35AM on June 1 2016 along Street 51 at the corner with Street 130 in Phsar Thmey 1, Daun Penh.

The identity of both victims is still unknown; one was driving a black SUZUKI VIVA with license plate Phnom Penh 1G-4625 (the driver broke his right shoulder), the other victim was driving a black SUZUKI STEP with license plate Phnom Penh 1AA-5238 (the driver injured his face).
Both were immediately taken to the hospital by an ambulance.

A witness said that he saw the 2 victims drive their motorbikes, maybe just returning from drinking, in a drunken state and against the direction of traffic along Street 51 from the South to the North. On Street 130 there was a green-coloured Camry Serie 89 traveling from the East to the West. At the intersection the car and the 2 motorbikes collided and the 2 motorbikes were dragged for around 10 meters. Both drivers were seriously injured.

The car didn't stop and escaped. The victims were taken to a private hospital and the 2 bikes were transported home in a tuk-tuk by friends of the victims. No police was seen.
