This thread never ceases to amaze, amuse and horrify me.
It also raises questions. One of which is how do pigs get slaughtered? There is a photo of someone with three hogs on a bike. Unlike the dozens of chickens that another image shows being transported by bike, those hogs must surely be dead, since they were not - for want of a better phrase, hogtied.
However, they looked entirely intact. No cut throats, for example, which led me to wonder what the method of dispatch would be?

Aaaaah, that would explain it. I remember the first visit to the KOW I made and saw the novelty of a pig on a bike and it was alive. However, it was trussed up beyond struggling and accepted its pillion fate stoically.
However, I figured three live pigs with untethered legs would create a mighty struggle on the back of a bike. Having seen the video, I can see that they do struggle but it is pretty futile stuff.

A policeman carrying pigs... I usually see them carried in more of a barrel-shaped basket type of thing. Imagine getting a kick off one of them if you went past too close?
